Display advertising

We show advertising to fund our research. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content and are loaded only after you consent — nothing tracking-related runs until you choose. See our cookie policy and privacy policy for how consent works.

Affiliate links

Some links to retailers may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a small commission if you buy — at no extra cost to you. Where we use them, outbound retailer links are marked appropriately. Affiliate relationships never determine which products we feature or how they rank.

Current status: retailer links on the site are placeholders during the pre-launch build, and ad units are disabled until real ad slots and any affiliate programmes are in place. This page already states the policy that will apply once they are live.

Our guarantee

Funding and editorial are kept strictly separate. No advertiser or retailer can pay for a better review, a higher ranking, or a place on a "best" list. Our rankings are transparent sorts on objective, sourced specs — the same whether or not a product carries an affiliate link. Read the methodology and editorial policy for the full standard.
