Robot lawn mowers

Europe's fastest-growing mower category — and the heart of this site. Every model here carries metric specs sourced from manufacturers or named test bodies; blanks mean "not specified", never a guess.

Common questions

Do I still need a boundary wire for a robot mower?

No longer. Wire-free robots navigate by RTK-GPS, onboard AI cameras, or a fusion of both — no perimeter wire to bury. Wired models remain the cheapest and most weather- and canopy-proof option, so the right answer depends on your garden. Our navigation chooser walks you through it.

What size robot mower do I need?

Match the model's rated working area to your lawn, with some headroom. A robot rated far beyond your garden usually just costs more, while one rated below it will struggle. Our coverage estimator checks a specific model against your lawn size.

Can robot mowers handle slopes?

Up to each model's rated maximum. Many wired models manage 25–45% gradients, and all-wheel-drive models can tackle far steeper ground. We record the sourced slope rating on every robot so you can filter by it.
