We keep this simple because our approach is simple: nothing that tracks you runs until you agree, and we collect as little as possible.

Pre-launch note: this policy describes how the site is built to operate. The legal operator details below are placeholders to be completed before public launch, and a Google-certified consent platform will replace the built-in banner in production.

Who we are

Consent first

We use Google Consent Mode v2. By default, analytics and advertising storage are denied — no analytics or ad cookies are set and no such scripts load until you choose "Accept" in the consent banner. If you reject non-essential cookies, those services stay off.

What we collect

If you consent to analytics: Google Analytics 4 collects aggregate, mostly anonymised usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) to help us improve the site.
If you consent to advertising: Google AdSense may use cookies to show and measure ads. Google acts as an independent controller for this; see Google's own policies for detail.
Essential only: a single cookie that remembers your consent choice (see the cookie policy). We do not run user accounts and do not ask for personal details to read the site.

We don't

We don't sell your data, we don't build advertising profiles ourselves, and we don't collect names, emails or payment details for browsing — there's nothing to sign up for.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct or erase personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time (re-open the consent banner to change your choice). To exercise these rights, or to complain to a supervisory authority, contact us first at the address above.

Third parties

When enabled with your consent, Google (Analytics and AdSense) processes data as described in Google's privacy policy. We link out to manufacturer and retailer sites, which have their own policies.
