Display advertising

We show advertising to fund our research. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content and are loaded only after you consent — nothing tracking-related runs until you choose. See our cookie policy and privacy policy for how consent works.

Retailer referrals (“Where to buy”)

Our “Where to buy” links point you to retailers and dealers who stock a mower. Some of these may be referral links, meaning we could earn a fee if you go on to buy — at no extra cost to you. These are convenience links to help you find a verified model, not recommendations: which mowers we feature and how they rank is decided only by sourced specs, never by who pays a referral fee.

No affiliate links at launch

We do not run affiliate links at launch. If we ever add them, we will disclose it here first, mark each outbound affiliate link rel="sponsored", and label it on the page. We will never quietly turn an editorial link into a paid one.

Our guarantee

Funding and editorial are kept strictly separate. No advertiser or retailer can pay for a better review, a higher ranking, or a place on a “best” list. Our rankings are transparent sorts on objective, sourced specs — the same whether or not a product carries a referral link. Funding never decides our recommendations.
