Battery ecosystem compatibility checker
A cordless mower is cheaper than it looks if you already own the right batteries — and more expensive if you don't. Check what carries over before you buy.
Already own cordless tools? Pick the battery platform and we'll show which catalogue mowers run on the same packs — so you skip buying batteries twice.
Compatibility reflects the platforms recorded in our catalogue today. Robot mowers almost always use a sealed, model-specific battery — sharing applies mainly to push/cordless tools.
Why the platform matters more than the brand
Cross-tool platforms like EGO 56V, Makita LXT and the multi-brand POWER FOR ALL alliance let one set of batteries run a whole shed of tools — so the marginal cost of adding a mower is just the bare unit. Proprietary and robot batteries don't share, so you're buying the whole package each time. When two mowers are otherwise close, the battery you already own often decides it.
