The GC-EM 1742 is the step up in corded width: a 42 cm cut and a 50 L collector, driven by a 1700 W Carbon Power motor, with six cutting heights from 20–65 mm and rear high wheels for easier rolling. Einhell rates it for medium lawns up to about 700 m², yet it stays close to the Flymo on weight at 11.6 kg.
Against the 36 cm Flymo it covers more ground per pass and holds more clippings, for a similar light weight — the obvious pick if your lawn is at the larger end of what a corded mower suits. As with any corded model, the cable tether defines its working range. It is sold as the GC-EM 1700/42; noise and GTIN were not captured.
